My guest asks for an invoice. What do I need to do?

 

As the local host providing the tour, it’s your responsibility to give guests an accurate and detailed invoice if they ask for one.

Your invoice should include:

  • Your details: Name, address, contact info, and (if applicable) your tax ID;
  • Guest details: Name and address;
  • Invoice number: A unique number for tracking;
  • Date: When the invoice is issued;
  • Service details: Tour name, date, time, duration, and other relevant info;
  • Cost: The amount charged, including any taxes or fees, clearly showing the currency;

If you’re not registered as a business and can’t provide invoices, you can instead share an receipt. This is not an invoice, but it confirms the guest’s booking and payment via the Withlocals platform, with the correct details.
